The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources said that Saudi Arabia hosts a robust food manufacturing base, comprising over 1,900 food factories with total investments exceeding SAR 88 billion.
The Kingdom eyes attracting additional investments of SAR 78 billion by 2035, focusing on value-added manufacturing and secondary industries, the ministry noted in a post on X platform.
Saudi Arabia’s food industry targets by 2035 include tripling the sector’s contribution to GDP and increasing food exports to reach SAR 30 billion.
